Centenary Jersey Auction
As part of the Centenary of Canberra Celebrations, the Canberra Raiders will be wearing a special Centenary Jersey for their match against the Brisbane Broncos on Monday June 10.
Raider’s fans are being given the opportunity to own the jerseys worn by the players on the night, by bidding online through www.allbids.com.au
Each jersey will be laundered and individually signed by the player who wears the jersey on the night following the match.
Raider’s fans can start bidding from Thursday (June 6) at 1.00pm, with the auction running through until 7.30pm on Thursday June 13. Proceeds from the auction will be given to the Canberra Region Rugby League.
NOTE: If a player withdraws from the named 17 players before the match the jersey auction will still proceed and the player will sign the unworn jersey. If a player comes into the team from outside the 17 originally named players, their jersey will be added to the auction following the game on Monday night (June 10).
Yellow Boot Auction
Gold (Yellow) is Canberra’s Centenary celebratory colour and selected Raiders stars will be wearing yellow ASICS boots for the match against the Broncos on Monday night.
These boots will be auctioned off post game to raise money for the matches official charity partner the Salvation Army.
Raiders Stars Josh McCrone, Anthony Milford, Jack Wighton and Joel Thompson will all wear the special boots on the night and then sign the boots post match for the winners of the auction.
The Yellow Boot Auction will run parallel with the Centenary Jersey Auction and closes at 8.00pm on Thursday June 13.
NOTE: If a player wearing the yellow boots withdraws from the match the auction will still proceed with the unworn boots signed by the player. If a player not nominated wears yellow boots on the night they will be added to the auction following the game on Monday night (June 10).
