Sydney singer-songwriter Bryan Estepa brings his laid-back melodies to the Pot Belly in Belconnen as part of his Heart vs Mind album tour. He'll be joined on the night by slightly more upbeat Sydneysiders Will and the Indians with their mix of "the Libertines, the Strokes and 1960s invasion bands". - Pot Belly Bar, Belconnen. 8pm | Fait Accompli
Sydney soul-punk favourites Fait Accompli headline the best punk line-up for this year. They'll share the stage with various other east coast punk rockers, including the extra loud Born Lion. Expect loud guitars, louder drums and plenty of jumping. - ANU Bar. Tickets $15 at the door (18+).

Canberra's best latin band will take to the stage at the Polish Club to get you dancing and having fun. The name says it all: these pop-punk rockers are going to have a good time and you'll have a good time watching them. The Revellers are starting to make a name for themselves with the release of their debut EP Night Time Lunatics, five simple, energetic and fun punk rock songs.- Transit Bar. One of Australia's best up-and-coming bands, the Rubens took the country by storm in 2012 with their self-titled debut album, which reached No. 1 on the back of Triple J hottest 100 singles My Gun and The Best We Got. These boys from Menangle, south-west of Sydney, are fantastic exponents of bluesy rock'n'roll. A show not to be missed. British drum and bass quartet Rudimental are back in the country this September and they've included Canberra on their six-stop tour.
