Phil Gould: Inglis tactics may lead to flipovers

Does Greg Inglis' style of play in the tackle contribute to him being the victim of dangerous tackles?

AAMI Park, Melbourne, Saturday 5.30pm (AEST)

Last meeting:
Canberra 40 Melbourne 12, AAMI Park, Round 18, 2012

Head-to-head: Storm 23 Raiders 8

Referees: Ashley Klein, Phil Haines

TV:
FoxSports 1 (live)

TAB Sportsbet:
Storm $1.12 Raiders $6.50

FootyTab: Canberra +17.5

Phil Mitchell writes: Three games into his comeback from a knee reconstruction, Terry Campese will reclaim his No.6 jersey for the first time in more than a year on Saturday. The Canberra captain should probably pack a Superman cape as well for the trip to Melbourne, because it might be needed to stop a rampant Melbourne Storm scoring their 16th successive win. The reigning premiers continue to answer every challenge thrown their way and are on target to break the Roosters’ record of 19 straight victories in 1975.

The Raiders were one of only three teams to defeat the Storm at AAMI Park last year, along with Wests Tigers and North Queensland, but their 40-12 victory was achieved against a side in the midst of a form slump and missing Cameron Smith and Billy Slater.

AAP writes: Undefeated Melbourne just keep grinding out wins but they have shown some chinks in their armour along the way. Chinks that are unlikely to be exploited by a Raiders' outfit that has lacked consistency this year and has stars David Shillington (ribs), Josh Papalii (knee), Jarrod Croker (knee) and Joel Thompson (toe) all sidelined. Canberra's Sam Williams has been axed to make way for Terry Campese, who will start for the first time in over a year in the halves, alongside halfback Josh McCrone.

Rookie utility Anthony Milford will take his spot on the bench after having a dangerous contact charge downgraded.

Key: Former Kangaroos playmaker Terry Campese has had only two games back from a knee injury but if he can capture some of his former magic the visitors might press Melbourne.
