Ford JOB cuts sees Libs get tough on assistance - The Australian



THE Coalition has vowed to put more constraints on car industry grants worth up to $5 billion as layoffs at Ford spark a political fight over government handouts.



The Coalition signalled a tougher approach to industry assistance yesterday in the wake of about 230 compulsory redundancies at Ford just months after the company gained $34 million in government aid.
