THE nation's corporate leaders have delivered a stinging rebuke to both sides of parliament, demanding an end to the relentlessly negative political climate that has hurt business confidence and is holding back investment vital to the economy.
With Australian businesses sitting on $400 billion in cash and remaining reluctant to invest, chief executives who spoke to The Weekend Australian for its annual CEO Survey, said they had low expectations for the economy in the coming year.
