SATURDAY afternoon kicked off with Newcastle thrashing Parramatta 42-12.
The Knights all but ended the Eels hopes of playing finals football with a huge performance at Hunter Stadium.
At 5.30pm Canberra does battle with the Wests Tigers. The Raiders are looking to post back-to-back wins for the first time this season, while the Tigers hope to snare a win as their coach Mick Potter looks to secure his future.

Finally at 7.30pm it’s a mouth-watering clash between the Roosters and the Storm.
The Roosters sit third, with the Storm in fifth. A big win could see the Roosters jump into the top spot, while a loss would see Melbourne sneak into the top four.
