8:29pm: 61min: Crowd is starting to go feral after that controversial decision. Or has Blake Ferguson walked in the stadium.
8:28pm: 60min: We've got a stink, players come in from everywhere. Jarrod Croker and Bryce Gibbs get tangled up as Gibbs carries the ball. The refs were going to let it go, but the video ref chimes in and Croker gets placed on report. Three words - you are kidding.
8:26pm: 59min: The Raiders are back, baby ... or are they??? Anthony Milford darts his way over for his second try of the game, but it's over-ruled by the video ref for an obstruction against Joel Thompson. It's the correct decision.
8:18pm: 53min: TRY: The Sharks take immediate advantage of the Raiders being down a man, as Jeff Robson gets himself across the try-line. The former Eels pivot throws a dummy and gets through a small gap. Gordon converts. Sharks 20; Raiders 12
8:16pm: 51min: Sin-bin: Raiders centre Sami Sauiluma has been given a 10-minute break for a professional foul, holding down Sosaia Feki after a break down field.
8:13pm: The crowd tonight is 7,615. It's low, but as much as could be expected.
8:12pm: 48min: More promising signs for the Raiders as they force a repeat set on the Sharks' line.
8:06pm: We're back for the second half.
7:51pm: 40min: That is why Anthony Milford is a superstar in the making! Raiders fans will be hoping he stays in Canberra next year, bringing the crowd to life with a sensational 40m sprint to the try-line. Croker converts. Sharks 14; Raiders 12
7:47pm: 36min: Bizarre from the Raiders - Campese goes for the quick line drop-out and it goes out on the full. The Sharks get a penalty 10m out and go for the two points. Gordon knocks it over. Sharks 14; Raiders 6
7:43pm: 34min: The heat has definitely gone out of the game. Both sides making a few mistakes. Bad news for the Sharks, NSW prop Andrew Fifita has a hamstring complaint and won't be back.
7:34pm: 26min: The Raiders kick the ball out on the full from the kick-off. After a solid start, it looks like they're starting to show the form which has seen them lose five in a row.
7:32pm: 25min: TRY: Canberra's right-edge defence breaks again, as Bill Tupou struggles to catch a bomb and Luke Lewis picks up the scraps to stroll over for the try. Nice challenge from Sosaia Feki to put Tupou under pressure. Gordon converts. Sharks 12; Raiders 6
7:23pm: 16min: TRY: Would've been some good coin on David Shillington to score the Raiders' first try of the night. It's the front-rower's first in a couple of seasons. Just in time to avoid the dreaded end of season nudie run. Croker converts. Raiders 6; Sharks 6
7:15pm: 9min: Even without Gallen, Carney, Tupou, Gallen and Bukuya, the Sharks look in the mood tonight. Went close to scoring their second of the night, but the Raiders hang on. That said, Josh Papalii drops a ball with no pressure on halfway.
7:10pm: 4min: TRY: The Sharks have made up for Gordon's blunder straight away with Sosaia Feki scoring down the left edge. A pretty simple move, an ominous sign for the rest of the game. Gordon converts. Sharks 6; Raiders 0
7:07pm: 2min: How did the Sharks not score? Michael Gordon has bombed an absolute sitter, throwing a pass to his winger when he would've scored by himself. Raiders knock-on leads to a line drop out.
7:06pm: KICKOFF: And we're away, with the Raiders kicking off.
7:05pm: Pre-game: Retiring veteran Shaun Berrigan leading the Raiders out in his 241st first-grade game. He's won a Clive Churchill Medal, won premierships and represented Queensland and Australia.
6:34pm: Pre-game: Hi, Lee Gaskin here at Canberra Stadium for the final match of the NRL regular season, the Raiders hosting the Cronulla Sharks. Vastly different approaches from both sides - the Raiders playing for pride while the Sharks can move up from sixth to fifth with a win tonight. Here's the scenario - if the Sharks win they take on the Cowboys, while a loss will pit them against the Knights.
A couple of changes for the Sharks but not as many as expected. Todd Carney and Anthony Tupou have both been rested with niggling injuries. Chad Townsend takes over at halfback, with the tongue-twisting Tupou Sousopoaga into the second row.
Just one change for the Raiders which had already been announced. Sam Williams comes in for a final game before he joins the Dragons, replacing Mitch Cornish.
Kick-off here is at 7pm.
