Former Canberra Raider Sandor Earl looks set to name names in a paid television interview over the Australia Sports Anti Doping Authority (ASADA) investigation.
The 23-year-old winger admitted to the trafficking and use of banned peptides in August, following the seven-month probe by ASADA into the use of performance-enhancing drugs. He was the first NRL player to be named in the investigation.
Earl faces a ban of four years to life for illegal substance use.
The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Channel 9 won the bidding war to have the interview, which Australian media is calling "one of the most anticipated sports interviews of the year". It will screen as part of The Footy Show next Thursday night.
Earl, who was born in Wellington but raised in Sydney, has played for the Roosters, Panthers and Sharks since making his NRL debut in 2009.
