Canberra man charged after shot fired into car - ABC Local

A Canberra man has been released on bail after appearing in the Queanbeyan Local Court over a shooting on a property at Wallaroo, just over the ACT border near Hall.

It is alleged Karlton Jones, 52, of Nicholls, fired a shot into the rear window of a car, as a 44-year-old woman was getting into the vehicle on Tuesday night.

The woman was not injured.

Jones was charged with several offences including discharging a firearm with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
