Canberra man charged after shot fired into car - ABC Online

A Canberra man has been charged after a shot was fired into a car at Wallaroo, just over the ACT border near Hall.

Police say a 44-year-old woman was getting into her car on Rochford Road when a shot was fired into the vehicle on Tuesday night.

The woman was not injured.

Officers arrested a 52-year-old Canberra man on Thursday and charged him with firearm offences.

He has been refused bail and is due to appear in Queanbeyan Local Court today.
