Hail or snow?
Twitter was abuzz on Tuesday afternoon that snow was falling across parts of the Territory. Is it snow, or is it hail?
We got some great photos through to the news room via Twitter of some pretty serious hail in Canberra's north.

Upon closer inspection, it was hail - not snow - but some of the photos show it was quite thick across the ground in some parts.
The hail forced the cancellation of the opener for the Brumbies and British Lions - but the main game is still scheduled to go ahead at 7.40pm.

Just after 5.30pm, the temperature was just above 7 degrees in Canberra.
