A Canberra man and woman have been rescued from the ocean off South Durras after their boat capsized.


Far South Coast Lifesaving said the couple were rescued on Tuesday morning.


"Lifesaver 3 rescued a man and woman from the ACT this morning after their boat capsized off the headland at Myrtle Beach, South Durras," it said in a statement.

"The pair in their mid 30s were winched into the helicopter with minor cuts. Lifesavers and Marine Rescue salvaged the four-metre vessel."
