Emergency services have reopened the Tuggeranong Parkway after a series of collisions on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were initially called to the scene of an eight-vehicle north-bound collision between Hindmarsh Drive and Cotter Road, which was reported just before 8.20am.

An Emergency Services Agency spokesman said no one was trapped, and two people were treated for minor injuries at the scene before being transported to the Canberra Hospital.

Another collision was later reported just north of the earlier crash.

ACT Policing said a motorcycle and a car collided north of the Cotter Road, also in the northbound lanes, just after 9.30am. The male motorcyclist was treated for minor injuries before being transported to the Canberra Hospital.

ACT Policing reopened the road completely just after 11am, after hours of delays for Canberran commuters.
