One of our terrific sponsors, Canberra Milk, has generously rewarded one interstate Raiders member with 10 cartons of ‘Raiders Lime’ after seeing his passion for the Green Machine online.
Canberra Milk is obviously based in the ACT region so Troy Williams #7293 who lives in Charleville in Queensland was unable to purchase the great tasting Raiders Lime flavour locally.
Troy contacted Canberra Milk to express his desire for a carton of Raiders Lime and the organisation’s generous response took Troy by surprise.
Troy then wrote into the club this week to express his gratitude to Canberra Milk for their random act of kindness.
Here’s what Troy had to say:
“I would like to let the club know what great sponsors you have,” said Troy.
“I was Tweeting to Canberra milk after the first home game as I cooked a cake which was lime green and I tweeted that some Raiders lime green milk would go down well with the cake.
“They then contacted me to send through my home address and details and they told me that they will see what they can do to help me out.
“Today I received 10 cartons of Raiders lime green milk. It was still cold which was quite surprising as I live 1400 kilometres away from Canberra in Charleville in Queensland.
“The Raiders is the best club and I support it with all my heart. I have been very lucky previously when I had them come in and present me with a jersey when they visited Charleville with the community program. Last year I was invited to dinner in Brisbane with the boys which was great as well.
“So for all of this I’d like to say a big thanks to the club and its great sponsors such as Canberra Milk.”
Cheers Troy Williams 7293
