2.35pm AEDT - ROY Asotasi has been ruled out for Souths, while captain Michael Crocker has been promoted to the starting side at lock.



Jeff Lima starts at prop for Asotasi, while Ben Lowe moves to the bench to accommodate Crocker.


For the Panthers, Brad Tighe replaces Geoff Daniela at centre in the only change.

2.20pm AEDT - Morris opens scoring for Sharks


VETERAN John Morris crossed in the ninth minute to give Cronulla first points against the Warriors.


Todd Carney converted the try to make it 6-0.

1.50pm - Lewis to play, Rapira out


LUKE Lewis has recovered from an ankle injury and will take his place in Cronulla's side for their clash against the Warriors.


Jon Green drops off the bench in the only change for the Sharks, with Sam Tagataese coming into the side.


Sam Rapira is out for the Warriors, replaced at prop by brother Steve, with Ben Henry coming into the 17 in the back row.


Winger Glen Fisiahii (family tragedy) is also out, replaced by debutant Ngani Laumape.
