MANLY forward Richie Fa'aoso is facing a four-week NRL ban after being charged with a grade-three dangerous contact charge.
Fa'aoso caught Gold Coast veteran Ashley Harrison with a shoulder charge in the 35th minute of the Sea Eagles' 14-12 loss to the Titans and the subsequent clash of heads knocked out the Queensland representative on Saturday night.
Fa'aoso will miss three weeks with an early plea or four weeks if he fights the charge at the NRL judiciary and loses.
His Manly teammate Brent Kite was also charged by the match review committee with a grade-one dangerous contact for unnecessary pressure on the neck of Nate Myles.
Kite will escape suspension with an early plea, but could miss a week if he disputes the charge at the judiciary and is unsuccessful.
Cronulla forward Ben Ross was given a grade-one dangerous contact charge for using a raised knee in the Sharks' 28-4 win over the Warriors.
Ross will also avoid suspension with an early plea.
Broncos utility Matt Gillett was also charged but will not miss any matches after being cited for a grade-one careless high tackle on Roosters five-eighth James Maloney.
