Leighton chairman Stephen Johns flags 'interference' - The Australian



LEIGHTON Holdings' departing chairman Stephen Johns has accused Hochtief chief executive Marcelino Fernandez Verdes of trying to interfere in the appointment of an independent director for the company earlier this year.



The allegations against Mr Fernandez Verdes, a former senior executive of Grupo ACS, are contained in Mr Johns' explosive letter of resignation as Leighton chairman today.
