A PLAN to develop Cape York's economy through agriculture has been questioned by traditional owners who say the region's soil and climate conditions are unsuitable for farming.
The Newman government yesterday introduced changes to land-clearing laws into parliament to allow exemptions for broadacre farming and regrowth clearing on freehold and indigenous land.
