IT now seems clear that the odds of a Tony Abbott government later this year are sufficiently good that even Andrew Wilkie might consider a flutter on that outcome.
The thing about Abbott that drives many left-of-centre commentators into apoplexy is that by and large he refuses to genuflect to "the inner city, chardonnay-sipping worldview" promulgated by 95 per cent of the ABC's presenters, producers, journalists and the rest.
