West Indies have won the toss and will bat first in the dead-rubber one-day international at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday.
Australia have made two changes to their team for game four from the side that wrapped up the five-match series in Canberra on Wednesday.
Batsman and vice-captain George Bailey is out with a slight hamstring strain and is replaced by Adam Voges.
Fast bowler Mitchell Starc is being rested from the match, with Queenslander Ben Cutting called up.
Australia are pushing for a five-game clean-sweep of the series, with the final match in Melbourne on Sunday.
Australian captain Michael Clarke said he would have batted had he won the toss in what appears to be perfect batting conditions.
Commenting on the damning report handed down by the Australian Crime Commission on Thursday, Clarke said cricket needed to be particularly vigilant given their past history with match-fixing.
"It's (match-fixing and drug allegations) the last thing any sport needs. Certainly cricket," Clarke said.
"I think the integrity of our game is the most important and we need to make sure we continue to uphold that.
"We are as well prepared and educated when it comes to match fixing and drugs in sport as any team in the world so we have no excuses."
Nathan Coulter-Nile has been flown in to join the Australian squad, to gain more experience around the international set-up.
