CANBERRA will rest star fullback Josh Dugan for Saturday night's trial against the Bulldogs, but coach David Furner has otherwise picked his strongest possible squad.
Dugan picked up a slight ankle sprain in last weekend’s trial against Wyong/Mounties, but is expected to be 100 per cent fit for the NRL season opener against the Panthers.
Centre Jack Wighton will also miss the game after sustaining a hand fracture at training, but will also be back for round one.
Furner has named a squad of 24 for the Goulburn fixture, with backrowers Shaun Fensom and Joel Thompson included after being rested from last week’s match.
