Mining tax fails to deliver, as revenue falls well short of forecasts - The Australian

LABOR'S controversial mining tax raised just $126 million in the first half of this financial year, figures released today by Treasurer Wayne Swan reveal.

In a statement, Mr Swan said the Australian Tax Office had provided the government with combined Minerals Resource Rent Tax revenue figures for the first two quarters of the 2012-13 financial year.
