THE union representing Centrelink staff will conduct a day of action today, asking workers to sign a letter to urge Human Services Minister Kim Carr to fix the problem of staffing cuts in call centres.
A letter, obtained by The Australian, will go out today as Senator Carr's office, the Department of Human Services, and the union hold a meeting to discuss the issue in Canberra.
