COLIN Barnett has savaged the Gillard government's "simplistic" and "patronising" white paper on the Asian Century, declaring Western Australia was 20 years ahead of Canberra in forging links in the region.
In his first detailed response to the white paper, the West Australian Premier told local and international business leaders yesterday that he found the document underwhelming and lacking in analysis and objectivity.
