Evans boosts cooperative research funding - The Australian

THE biggest pot of federal government money for cooperative research centres in five years is up for grabs after Science and Research minister Chris Evans announced the allocation will be $240 million for 2013.

That exceeds the current year's allowance by $90 million and according to CRC Association chairman Tony Peacock, is intended to encourage applications for the 16th round, which opens in February.
